I completely understand your plight, which as a heart failure patient for a decade I share. It is so frustrating to feel on the edge of competence but not able to reach it because of health-related lapses of memory and concentration, especially when you know it was the kind of thing you used to be able to do. Hang in there Chappell.

Thanks, Rocky! Yeah, I wish I could have gotten it done for Christmas, but there's a lot of new features to cover and I didn't want to rush it. So while the book won't be out till end of February, it's actually available for pre-order right now... so you can still add it to your list...

I'm having some health issues that are affecting my higher brain functions, including my short term memory. I have been struggling with X2 but I just can't seem to remember the things I need to learn. I will definitely buy your book when it is available because I think I will need something like it if I ever want to record another song of mine. Keep up the good work, Mr. Garrigus, and thank you.

Hey Chappel,

I'm very sorry to hear about your heath issues. I hope that you're getting some good treatment and you'll be feeling better soon. As John B. said "Hang in there Chappell."

Also, I appreciate your support and I hope you enjoy the book when it ships.

Thanks!
Scott

Hey John,

Thanks for posting that message! It's great to see that kind of support for fellow Cakewalkers.

Amazon UK is still selling all of your previous books Scott, right back to Sonar 2! (all at what I imagine is full price as well)
Hey Colin,

Wow! That's weird... I doubt they're selling many copies... I know I haven't seen royalties from the old books in a while. I think I need to switch to writing novels, since they have a much longer shelf life.

Thanks!

Thanks John, and Scott, for your kind words. I get my health care through the VA so it's good to know I'll always have that. I've been disabled for a few years now and am not much good for anything other than playing on my computer and watching TV so it's a real bummer that I can't take advantage of the situation. I've been working on a new song for months and it just doesn't seem like I'll ever finish it. Oh well, at least we're still breathing, right? Could be worse.

Thank you, sir. I'll never again be the man I was, but that may not be such a bad thing.

Hey Damien... thanks very much! Yes, since the publisher is a US-based company, I believe it does take a little longer for them to distribute the book internationally. I don't know if it will take a month longer, but it is possible that Amazon UK date is accurate. Sorry about that...

Thanks!
