I'm about to upgrade to x2, but not sure which bundle to go for.... the pro channel modules or ozone 5 both look good in promo vid's....... any thourghts out there !

If your budget allows get ozone.

I agree with that. There will be sales on the extra PC modules sooner or later. It is a tough call.

I thought you had to get everything. Now.

I purchased Ozone back in October of this year and it has been well worth the money. If you can get a discount and you can afford it then I highly recommend you get Ozone.

I have had many plug-ins over the years including UA cards with plugs. If you like to mess around with several effects plugs to get a certain effects then get all the pro channel goodies. If you want to get a "one does it all" then ozone is the way to go. I have the ozone 5 plug and I get the same mix or better than using all the pro channel plugs. I also get these great mixes from ozone 5 in 1/3 the time compared with mixing and matching the many plugs on sonar. If I ever get the chance to go to the ozone advanced for less that the $900 they want, I will buy it. The plug is the best I have used to date.

No sense worrying about it too much... Sooner or later you'll buy them all if you catch the recording bug. :-)
 
Pro Channel stuff will be more useful on a per track basis. Ozone is a little hungry to use many instances unless you have a monster machine.
