I wonder if Cakewalk have considered an iPad app.

Cubase have just released Cubasis and Fl studio has been out for a while.

Recording on an iPad has got very good in the last couple of months.

Now they have Audiobus and Imageline and Steinberg are on board.

The iPad 4 is powerful enough now with the A6X processor as well to run some demanding Apps.

I follow the scene and I can tell you that things have advanced enormously in the last six months.

I would love a stripped down Sonar App.

It sounds like the new Microsoft surface will be a great touchscreen option for Sonar.

I was interested in Surface until I saw the price. 900 US Dollars or something like that. I will stay with the iPad until more affordable options develop.

Surface isn't all that off in price if you consider the price of an ipad with more than a minimal amount of memory.

And the Surface pro with come with a digital stylus.
That could come in handy.

Well we will see what happens.

Sonar of course being a Desktop App will work with Pro so no further development needed.

However I would still like to see a Tablet App for IOS.

Anyway have to to bed now.

Good night all!

Well some Roland hardware does have IOS support  http://www.roland.com/apps/  , but I hope Cakewalk doesn't go down this path.
