A new song written by Jennifer Townsend Collins and sung by yours truly. I played the bass and synths, and Greg Powerlett laid down the acoustic guitar tracks. I also envisage an acoustic guitar track that will add fills, and a lead part over the last 8 to 16 bars or so, when I can decide on what that part will entail (I'm having a lot of trouble finding it). Crits welcome.

Nice song.... as you work with it the part will come.

Quite often I will have a song and be working on a solo or fill part and nothing seems to work....I just let it set and in a day or two, a cool idea will come and it's often in a totally different direction then the one I originally started in....

Very pleasant piece, I do not want to make to many judgements about mix at this moment as I have just done some quite serious changes in my studio.  But what I hear I like.

Awesome so far. I'd have to say, WWDGD (what would David Gilmour do?) But I also hear other influences...this can go a variety of directions.

Thanks for the listen I really appreciate the comments, I will let it sit and see if the inspiration comes. I would like it if DG would add a part.

Sounds really nice, I would brighten that guitar a bit, it sounds great but needs a bit more upstairs IMO. It's a dark song, but there's nothing wrong with that. Your performance actually gives me a bit of a floyd vibe.

It does have a bit of Floyd vibe.  The vocals/harmony sound very good.  Kind of a melancholy song but I like it!
Nice one!

Yup, a bit of that melancholy Floyd-ish vibe going on - sounds good here.  Though I'd go for more of a fretless bass tone in the intro for the full effect.

And yeah, a little DG during the outro would be cool.

I think it's fine the way it is. If you add another guitar I would use the approach that America did and and a complimentary part above the original. As it is, it's fine.

Well done!
