A downside to the introduction of the monthly updates was that Scott's "Power" books were no longer practical to produce. That was a big loss. His clear descriptions and instructions were outstanding and invaluable. I still consult them for anything that hasn't changed since X3.

Now that the updates has ceased, I would love to see him produce one last Sonar reference. Perhaps just some kind of supplement that covers features added since X3.

I realize that it might not be worth all the work that would be required, since a lot of Sonar users will moving to other DAWs. Nevertheless, I just wanted to put the idea out there.

I'd like that as well, but it seems the work would be overwhelming as there is no more product to support anymore

A new book? Not so sure about that. But I would like to put up videos tutorials that I was already planning to do on the following YouTube channels... as long as the videos get plenty of views, it may be worth it to continue them... we'll see...

Whelp, I guess from one perspective the monthly updates cannot hinder a book.. can be "SONAR Power! - the final DEFINITIVE edition!"

Scott, I've owned several versions of your Sonar Power books and they're the best. I might be in the minority, but I find it easier to learn something by reading a book than by watching a video or using an online help feature.

If you created a "final" Sonar Power book, and even if you only offered it as an Kindle book or a purchasable, printable PDF, I'd buy it for sure.
