I notice in X2 that input echo stays on when I use a softsynth. I turn it off but it turns itself on again. Even when I archive a softsynth it stays on. What's up with that. Wasn't a problem in X1.

It turns it on automatically by default for the track that is in focus.  Is that what is happening?

After I record a track and I have the take I want I turn off input echo and bouce down to audio. I then archive the track but the input echo turns on again. What I also notice is that the audio track of the softsynth input echo button is half blue and the midi track is solid blue. I never saw that before either.

I't never did this in earlier versions. In X1 for example when I turn off input echo it stayed off till I turned it back on if needed.

I found the setting in prefs and unchecked always echo current midi track. I must have had that unchecked in previous versions.
