beagle you know how you feel about giga sampler ? thats exactly how I feel about m-audio now (I've just spend a fair bit replacing things because they couldn't pull their finger out)

I would keep an eye on the m-audio site for the next few days as they seem to be updating drivers on a lot of things.

it only took em 3+ months to update drivers (last set were dated 2009)  I was waiting on.. which made working in sonar etc  near impossible

The Windows7 64-bit drivers that have been out for a year work fine. You have some other problem.

Dave, for the ozone they were out in 2009 and not updated since!!! .. until yesterday or the day before. 3 months after I told them the issue.. and no it's not DPC latency etc.. prior to that they were working fine.. so I assume say a windows update threw them or something.

I own both an ozone and 1010LT.. but if the LT gives me any issues like the ozone.. it's getting replaced by an RME.

their tech support has beyond rubbish and they were told how to replicate the issues. all they reply was "unplug .. reinstall the drivers" .. the drivers WERE the problem .. they were told this about 3 times over 3 months.

imagine working on a tune.. get someone to fx it with bit crusher every 4-5 minutes that's what it was equivalent to.. in ANY host I use (reason / sonar / cubase)

2 weeks ago, I got a saffire 6.. NO problems , but had to get a keyboard also to replace the ozone.. so thanks to them , I've had to fork out a load of money because they have taken their time.

lets see what m-audio have done for me personally...

1)they messed up with my "ozone" mastering software registration
2)they made UK folk wait a month delay for Reason 4 because they didn't ship it!!
3)they made me wait 3+ months for drivers they should have updated AGES ago

3 strikes, and they are out .

yeah, I know they were very slow with vista drivers and I've heard some complaints about win7 drivers, but not as many as vista.  my system works fine, but I'm still on xp and prbably will stay here a while.

That's because they didn't need to be updated. They work fine. You just have an issue with M-Audio. Their products and drivers work very well. If you have an issue, take it up with them. In case you didn't notice, this is the Sonar forum. M-Audio has their own forum.

Hi,

The question is ... will they update their drivers for the 1010LT or related cards for the W8 Pro .... or any other version after that?

It has been suggested to not upgrade the machine that has this card past W7 at all ... and M-Audio is not talking about W8 and in fact has not discussed W7 a whole lot.

My Delta44 worked fine with Windows8 and no update was needed. I suspect the same will be true of the Delta1010.
