Numerous problems reported with X2, 2 month later still no real update?

Many have send bug reports and been confirmed both here and by Cakewalk but still no update that address the issues? Considering to be a “release-version” X2 is kind of stable but far from perfect. By the time span now, I though we should have seen the third update, at least second one; but it really surprise that Cakewalk haven’t be able to produce ONE SINGLE Update yet?

PRV tools like "mute" doesn't work, new track lane have issues, BREVERB bugs, random close and crash, audio drop outs during recordings randomly, selected and highlighted tracks get unselected during mix down?... the list just go on….

By all means, thanks for the FREE Exclusive Club content, but I rater get an update that fix the problems in my everyday work, thank you.
The only things Cakewalk keep sending me are new "sales pitch" of content “Buy now! and save $100!”, instead of fixing the real problems with X2.

I'm not seeing any of the problems you've listed above since the quickfix was released.

And it's only been 2 months, not 3

Try to mute a note in PRV. ALT CLICK- as you can see it keep delete it..
BREVERB keeps turn ON OFF "dead" in a BUS after reloading project?
Drop Outs of audio, audio engine halt sometimes... and so on...Deleting a BUS channel make SONAR X2 crash sometimes...

Tracklanes, get unlaned/ hide randomly selecting other tracks? Track lanes counts adds +20 empty tracks called "0" after reloading project?
Selecting Synth Audio track, MIDI Track and then range of the selection make MIDI track get unselected during Mixdown?
The list goes on....

No issues with your computer?

No. Some of issues mention has been confirmed by Cakewalk + other users.

Ok. Because I have Win8 here on a older dualcore laptop. And that laptop had some funny issues. Wich led back to worn out memory. Not sure how old your memory is. I think you work your DAW pretty hard... Not pointing a finger. Just lending a hand (testpc).

Windows 8 is now receiving major code upgrades. It's just common sense to wait a little. And to perfect what they are working on.  The WIN8 release is still doing funny stuff.

X2 on my WIN7 studio machine has been very stable.

With regards,

I also haven't even touched X2 due to one particular show-stopper with the meters. $99 that could have went to other bills. Blah. O well X1 works.

As far as I'm concerned my ol pal Freddie's right.  X2 has quite a few anomalies and bugs that are very distracting.  I'm glad not everyone has them (or doesn't know they have them) but they are real and making many of us a bit cranky.

Hopefully soon.
I need the meters to work in TV without having to do this & that just to have a basic & necessary DAW feature.
