Think I'll do the same. Too much bugsplat-on-windscreen static around here, seriously degrades the SNR.

Every time this guy posts I hear my Dad's voice " If I wanted to hear from an a$$hole I would have farted..."
Haha, funny guy, your Dad, that's pretty good. Although perhaps not such a kind thing to say about one's son.  Ah, but I'm sure it was only said in jest.

Much as I'm flattered by how you follow me around here, it does make me a bit curious about why you are even here, as from what I can tell you joined the CW forum more than 21/2 years ago but in searching against your ID just now I can't find any posts by you in all that time actually contributing anything here to help anyone else out with anything, only some questions posted by you, to which I hope you received a helpful response from someone more knowledgeable.

Perhaps you're here to learn, and to contribute what you can, as I hope we all are. That's not always apparent in forums such as this which incentivize post count without regard to the merit of contribution, and hence posts are just as likely to be mere farts in the wind contributing nothing but serving only to increase one's post count as they are helpful and knowledgeable contributions.

From your lack of input, I get the sense that you are perhaps not as computer/hardware savvy as you've claimed, in which case it's probably good that you can rely on Jim's support for your new Studiocat system. Like, say, if ever have a problem with a control surface and can't receive any help in the forum.

If you are here to learn and contribute, then I might suggest a bit less typing and a lot more study. Meantime, do try to keep your foot out of your mouth (yes, I do know precisely what it means, so perhaps you really should look it up if you don't, along with learning the difference between "pooh pooh" and "poopoo",)

And if my posts bother you or anyone else, then I invite you to take advantage of one of the few features I actually like about this forum software, the good old "kill filter", and just click on that little button which appears to the right of my ID and then, in the drop down menu which appears, select "Block member", and in that way you won't see no more of my bothersome posts no more.

Well first:

I never said my dad said that about me, just people who are a$$holes.

Second:

I have a life and a career. I don't hang out all day on internet forums trying to convince myself and others I am important. I read the forums over morning coffee, during renders and other downtime. Your belief that I care enough about you to "follow" around forums is moremproof of you arrogance and ego. Post count is not indicative of ability, skill or the right to be on the board. You sound like a thirteen year old.

Third:

You contradict yourself at evey turn attempting to be clever and use buzz words etc. You can't even do that correctly.

Fourth:

You are still misusing "foot in the mouth"

Fifth:

I have replied to you idiotic and bull$hit posts against Jim. I was in the thread and used it for POSITIVE behavior. You arrived and crapped on it. I will continue to point out your bull$hit against Jim and others as long as you continue to spew it. I will do so using facts. Sorry if you can't deal with that.

It's easy to be an a$$hole on the internet when you are anonymous. To bad your not enough of a man to post your identity.

Agreed.. Hey Bakers... maybe you need to start looking at Mac development too (for Sonar X2 and beyond).. the writing is on the wall for PC it seems. =(

This is funny. Who thinks PCs are going anywhere? What will probably happen is Windows will turn gestapoware like the Apple stuff. No more customization as far as hardware is concerned. Hopefully Windows will maintain it's customization so people who can't stand staring into a light all the time, can make the screen better.

This thread is braindead.

If you can't hold an adult attitude in front of something, then walk away.  Wise words' given to me, by a wise man.

As for the "blocking" idea, it's a pity there isn't some form of quick grouping that we can all use to block you at once.  One mouse click, lots of happy people.

If you've really been around that long, why do you have such an attitude towards people just trying to make music?

I can only surmise that your music making experience has been sadly disappointing and fruitless..

I hope your life improves soon, for your, and all our sakes..

I just built a DAW a couple months ago and the i3770k seemed pretty sweet then. Went with an ASUS P8 Z77 mobo.

I also recently built a new machine using this exact same motherboard and CPU. Works perfectly :)
