You'll probably need to share some info such as the version of Sonar you're running, computer system specs., audio device, etc. before anyone can give much help...

Make sure you have the latest manufacturer's drivers for your specific audio card and operating sysytem, not a "generic" driver like ASIO4ALL. (makes a difference sometimes!)

If you've made any drastic changes to buffer settings in Sonar preferences, back off a bit and see if that makes a difference.

Also, FYI -
SInce you're running Windows 7 32-bit, your system will actually only use about 3.5GB of the RAM you have installed.  Might want to think about running Windows 7 64-bit so you can use that extra RAM!!   That's the combination I'm running - works great, especially when running softsynths with lots of samples behind the scenes!!

PS -

You may also want to run something like "DPC latency" (free download) and see if it can pinpoint any unusual latency sources with your setup...

Thank you for your details. [lang=en]I do use many soft synt and kontakt libraries like 5 and I have never given problems, only when I put the loops in the monitoring system does not allow me to go forward. [lang=en]is there a way to clear the cache while working?

I also think there is a memory issue with the X2 media browser, as has been brought up elsewhere on this board.  I haven't had the OOM warning, but did have a few Sonar crashes when previewing samples through the browser.

Thank you for your speech, but I think the fault is from the software.

As was already stated, prior to your condescending comment above, that you have memory installed on your system that you cannot access, due to limitations with a 32-bit OS installation.

If you want access to more memory, then upgrade your system to a 64-bit operating system.  8 GB would be a good amount of memory for you - you just need the operating system to be able to access it. so that Sonar can load up what you are asking of it and resolve this issue for you.

If you want to blame the software for your memory problems, when nobody else in this forum is doing so, and then disregard the valid assistance that was provided to you, then by all means, continue to suffer the consequences - as you are.  Pissing off people who are responding to your requests for assistance is a quick way to getting no further assistance.

In the meantime, I will go back to running Sonar X2 with 20+ soft synths and ZERO memory issues, happily recording with no memory concerns whatsoever.

This problem I ever had with sonar x 1, but someone wrote me privately saying it is an issue already known. [lang=en]thanks the same and continue playing with your 20 synt
