I know I don't post here often...usually too busy...so sorry for that...
but I felt this noteworth so decided to post it...you can beat me later...

This is a song entitled Callisteia Opus by Dylan Lloyd that I just finished mixing
in the 228 Beta Build of Mixcraft 7.  It's an Orchestral Piece with 39 tracks...
all done on the stock Mixcraft Instruments included with the program.

Let me know what you think about it...

Did you play these or did Dylan play and you assigned voices and mixed?  Pardon my ignorance on these things.  It sounds good but I'm trying to figure the process and players.

Yeah, it does sound good.   I don't think the instruments themselves are going to win any awards, but for delivered plugins in an app at that price they work very well.

I agree steve...for a $100 Standard or $150 "Pro" version
this is pretty amazing...

I'm interested to see what will be offered in the "Pro" version, as I own Mixcraft 6 Pro,
which came with quite a few plugins and instruments...I bought it so that when it went to
64 bit I'd have an upgrade path...same with Mixbus.

So far this has been exceptionally stable on Win 8.1..

This is just the standard version...

All the instruments are from the included "Acoustica Instruments" plugin VI...

I'm also anxious to see what happens in X4 Producer...

I have been pretty amazed by some of these "consumer" low end products as well,
like Magix Music Studio and Samplitude Music Studio, which sell for less then $100.
They are becoming quite powerful...and quite worthy..

I paid like $29 for Mixbus...that was a GREAT buy...the sound of that program is incredible.
When it goes 64 bit and gets VSTi support...it will be a monster, as long as they don't lose
the "sound".

I not sure I like the sounds. I do like the tune. There's talent in those harmonies!

Well done!

Very nice composition.  On my system, the sounds are good and work very nicely together.
Very good job to all.
