Hi Gang...
 
In building my latest DAW, I'm trying to consolidate programs I typically run on other machines "just in case"...
 
I've installed essentially everything and all programs work correctly except two rather old ones that I still find important to me...
 
They are both exhibiting the same type of problem...
 
I have tried running them in compatibility mode as well as as administrator, but the problems persist...
 
the two programs are Labels Unlimited 2.0 and Mediaface II
 
LU2 runs, but will not load any projects I've already made and will not save... anything...
 
MediafaceII will not load any projects I've already made, but will let me save...
 
What am I missing here?

As the other Kenny said "you've go to know when to hold them and know when to fold 'em".
 
I've had three (non-music related) software products that simply won't work in Win 10. Bye Bye.

As far as labels go, I use MS Word (Yeah I know...).  It supports full mail merge which is handy and there are a lot of templates available.  Most label companies like Avery have templates for Word.

Typically I've moved on to new programs, but I have a huge database in LU2 and only manual ability to (one by one) create something new...
 
...and Mediaface II has all my album artwork for all my albums... I'm not really ready to rebuild so much...
 
Right now I'm close to getting them fully working... there must be some simple reason why both have issues with loading/saving so I will continue to search for someone who has solved it....
