The first time I read "Uranus is gaseous." in a book I knew I was going to like science.

I'm confused. The article talks in billions of years. I thought the solar system was only 3000 years old. That's when Dog created it right?

As I committed dyslexic atheist I believe there is no dog!

I thought you were going to point out the poor grammar (s/b "Uranus takes a beating!").

Depends on the grammatical intention of the sentence. It's totally correct if one is speaking directly to said planet with the intent of doing it harm.

I've had the unfortunate experience of speaking to more than my share of Uranusholes.

I would nerdily () disagree.  If that was the case, you should separate the pronoun you are talking to with a comma like this: "Uranus, take a beating!"

It would be correct, however, if there were such a thing as a Uranu, and multiples of them were taking a beating.

Hey Bill ,

I think your Uranus will be totally safe when you go to get your medications at your local pharmacy as long as two very important things do not happen once you have waited in line , and gotten to your turn at the counter

#1 , Watch out for Uranus when your pharmacist greets you, takes off his old rubber gloves , puts on a new set of rubber gloves and tells you to grab your ankles .

or way way much worse

#2 , Watch out for Uranus if he leaves his old rubber gloves on , starts adjusting his pharmacy smock , grabs a tube of K_Y with a prophylactic from the front display and tells you you need to discuss the side effects of your new medications in a one on one private consultation .

all the best
