I've just caught up at last. I thought it was great, even better than the last one. I've gained a couple of ideas that may mean I open the matrix view even.

Screensets ?

Great show guyz !!

Well, if David Cronenberg ever does a sequel to Eastern Promises and Viggo Mortensen isn't available, I'll be sure to sign up!

Yo Brandon.

The reason many of us did not think to "stack synths" is because there is no information about how "track templates" have become "folder templates."

In X1 all tracks in the folder get saved. This was not the case for 8.5 and before.

I have searched the help file,...  and the only reference I can find to this feature is in one of the update descriptions. So, I did not think to try it.

Now I can update many of my track templates to do more with less.

Please pass on that the manual (and what's new info) should be updated.

Maybe there is something in the included tutorials. Did I miss it?

Yo Brandon.

How about posting a link to the mellotron track template?

I was able to watch the video last night and a bit this morning. I will be looking at stacking synths a bit more and creating sounds I like. It has just opened up a whole new world of musical architecture.

They are some other tips and tricks that has been done so I will have pen and paper ready as I look through the tutorial again.

I was finally able to view the latest webinar this morning (from start to finish) and without having read all previous comments, I have to say that I enjoyed it quite a bit. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Brandon and Seth for "sweating it out" live and coming up with yet another very informative presentation. Stacked synths via "Track Templates" was definitely an eye-opener for those into that type of sound design. But most impressive was Brandon's project coming to life. Very nice work indeed Brandon. A pleasure to watch.

Looking forward to many more of these as they are IMHO the best approach to showcase the impressive depth that Sonar X1 offers.

Best regards,
jc

Hello Everyone,

We've got a new Go Deeper video up called 'ProChannel Sidechaining'. It shows how to sidechain with the ProChannel and covers techniques like vocal ducking, rhythmic gating, and mix pumping.

Watched it on CakeTV since I wasn't able to make the live time slot. Great content - really appreciate the approach taken and your banter and walk-through. Was Brandon pulling our chains when he said the Hollywood sound effects are included? I liked your use of it in the demo. It would be swell if it really was already in the included sound samples.

The Hollywood FX comes with DimensionPro in X1 Producer and are a part of the extra content disc.
