I recently switched over to X1 Producer.  I haven't done anything with track templates until now.  I selected and saved a piccolo line as a track template for woodwinds (I'm using the Garritan COMB VST).  I was going to insert a second piccolo track, but when I tried inserting it from the template, it inserted a copy of every MIDI track connected to the Garritan VST as well as a copy of VST audio track.  I tried it several times, making sure I only had the one track selected and saving it as a template, but it still did the same thing, inserting multiple MIDI tracks.  Is it supposed to work that way?  All I wanted was the one MIDI line with the controlers.
