EDIT - I think you already answered this but:
Is Aria Player showing up as a VSTi? That is the virtual instrument (like Kontakt or EW Play) into which you load GPO if GPO2 is like their other libraries (I don't own it).

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you before now. I use the synth rack to load a synth. Is it listed in the Plugin Manager? Mine is. I don't have it listed under VSTis in the FX bin because I use a custom menu. 
 
In the Synth Rack it is listed under Garritan.

Aria Player is not showing up as.a VSTi.

When you uninstalled, did you check your system for any leftover Aria DLL's? To me, it sounds like you may have another version of the DLL somewhere that is causing your issues.

Dan, I thought the same thing. And I think I got them all. I even ran CC Cleaner on the registry to make sure the registry was clean and not picking up old/deleted paths. But now after the re install not solving anything, I am just trying to come up with ideas about which way to go!!
