I don't really crave smoking.  It's not difficult for me to not smoke.

OTOH, I would really enjoy a pot of rich, black coffee with a plate of bacon cooked just so and a cigarette about 3 feet long.  I always really enjoyed those flavors together.

One real down side about quitting smoking is that it's easier for people to tell when I need a shower.

My roommate vapes and I don't even notice it (and I'm a non-smoker who would DEFINITELY notice it if it stank).  I can always tell when he lights up the 420 though.

We (my wife and me) stopped smoking indoors a bit over two years ago. On a cold (Norwegian) winters night, I miss it, but love the clean smell (or lack of) inside the house / apartment.
As to my digital smoking friends, I tell them that I am still in the "analog domain"

You have to laugh at smokers, because regardless of how old they are you know the only reason they started was because they wanted to look grown up in front of their friends and then it got out of hand and they couldn't stop. I would say that's the story behind 99% of smokers. It certainly was with me and everyone I knew who smoked. We started down the park because we thought it made us look older, and then before you knew it we were gripped by the habit.

I was a pretty heavy smoker until the age of 22 and then I just stopped, completely cold turkey. It's surprisingly easy if you go into it with the right attitude, which is to get yourself in the frame of mind where not smoking is the feeling you crave. Smoking is a physical act, and so is not smoking. You just switch it around. After a few days you get so pleased with yourself for having gotten that far that you meditate on how disappointed you would be if you threw all that effort away. That's how it worked for me, and I really couldn't understand all the fuss people make about not being able to quit, it just seems so pathetic and defeatist.

I have to laugh when I see kids in their early 20's vaping on the street. It looks truly ridiculous. Either they're doing it to quit smoking, in which case they're just substituting one mental crutch for another, or they're doing it because it's become "cool," which I wouldn't even begin to try and understand. Then again, I can't even wrap my head around skinny jeans.

Me & the Mrs dumped analog cigs about 4 years ago and switched to e-cigs due to health issues with ..well smoking.

Since I make my own "juice" we went from > $100 a week for cigs to < $10 a week.
Health issues have been resolved as a result.

I don't have the recipe for Baby Diaper, but Strawberry Cheesecake is one we go with a lot.
