My top 3:

1- Track Manager : More advanced, dockble, ...

2-Loop Construction: Warping option (like Ableton Live),  gain/pan/pitch automation (not just flat envelopes), ...

3- Cakewalk PlugIns: Please better, clean and bigger GUI (like Studio One 2 native PlugIns) , ...

1 - Graphics inconsistencies need URGENT attention - esp. in PRV/Track View
2 - Using a drum map BREAKS the link between the Midi track & Audio track(s) so that if you want to solo/mute the instrument, you have to click the button on both tracks
3 - Full colour customisation

1. Smaller mixer, preferably scalable (this way it scales down when docked), with at least 5 FX names visible in the bin at a given time.  Even if a scalable mixer isn't in the works, I need the channel strips to go more back to Sonar 8.5 sized. The X2 strips are too big and wide and eat up too much real estate. It makes mixing hard as I see less tracks available (and no, the narrow strips option isn't a good alternative). I'd also like the ability to go fullscreen on the mixer a la Cubase. No need to see anything else when I'm mixing.

2. Routing!!! I'd like to be able to route the audio output of one track, to the audio in of another and record. Maybe even route it to more than one if needed. Let me decide.

3. Freezing/bouncing improvements. Why is it that I freeze a track of BFD2 on multi outputs, Sonar needs to do 1 bounce for each track? It should render all tracks at once. Why can't I quickly step backwards in the freeze state to make changes? Why
can't Sonar start pre-freezing tracks to save CPU?

Bonus area of attention:

I still think the core balancing and CPU efficiency needs more work. Core 1 always seems to be spiking before the other cores. Sonar needs a better way of handling this. This would lead to higher track counts and fewer dropouts.

Top one in my book is the unpredictable zoom behavior of the PRV! I never know what zoom level it will be next! I spend way too much time resizing this from completely zoomed out to a normal setting. And resizing the width of the drum names every time is also annoying!

Funkybot, you can get around this by doing a bounce to track.

2 passes will be needed - one for mono tracks & another for stereo
