I got X1 Producer this summer, but I really haven't used it yet (using sonar 8.5.3 studio). I also have the wave (5?) mercury bundle which has the E-Channel strip in it. Has anyone compared the two since they seem to have about the same functionality? I haven't used the waves stuff too much yet, but since I have it I might as well investigate it.
 
I am thinking about uninstalling X1 64-bit and installing 32-bit so it is easier to use all the waves stuff (the 64-bit version couldn't find the waves stuff, it seems). I seem to have an iLok free bundle and I have read through a few threads on 32-bit waves in 64-bit sonar so I guess it is doable.
