I am playing with TH2 producer, can't seem to find any presets. Found very little docs about it. web search etc. Should there be presets?

There are presets, at least in the full version.  On the top right side of the window look for two blue buttons called "Write" and "Search", when you click the Search button that will open up all the presets in a table format.
You can also access the presets by clicking on the top BANK or SOUND numbers.  Again, I'm not sure about the Sonar version, but it's there in the full.   I would assume that the Sonar version should at least have SOME presets?

one problem I have initially come across with TH2 is when clicking on the top left to monitor your volume input, the gui display takes over and freezes access to sonar and other vst's. I suppose this is fine for level adjustments with a hardware input, but in running a virtual input, this removes access to any gain controls on other gui's.

Actually, I think I might be wrong about the presets.  I looked at a screenshot of TH2 that comes with Sonar (the lite version) and I did not see those Write and Search buttons I was talking about.  So maybe that version doesn't have presets.
But the upgrade is worth it, IMHO.  You get a whole bunch more amps, cabinets and fx.

the Sonar version does have the Write and Search buttons; MASTER at the top left needs to be deselected. You can also navigate on the top panel (Master still deselected) using the Sound up and down buttons (Sound is roughly 'genre') and then select all the variations that display on the row underneath.

I assumed "TH2 Producer" would not be the "lite" version.  Producer kinda implies better than Lite?

I believe it is called TH2 Producer to distinguish it from the even lighter version included in SONAR Studio (and Essential?).

I think that's just the name the Sonar version got... as in Sonar Producer. Yes it's a little confusing. You gotta pay $99 extra for the full version.

Gonna stick with guitar rig 5 for now.  Paid $99 for that as well.  Feel like an addict. Gonna have to start playing gigs to pay for my Sonar habit!  X1 & GR5 last xmas, X2 and TH2 this Sept, God I hope nothing cool come out in the next year....  :)
