Newbie help please
Is there a "Piano Accordion" available in Cakewalk Sound Centre (Music Creator 5) as I can't find one anywhere in there. Or an alternative way to get the sound.
Thanks

Try Safwan Matni's free VST.

I just tried it. Sounds good, and comes with 16 patches for different-sounding PAs.

Thanks, but how do I install that into Music Creator?
Sorry if that's a bit basic, but so far I have followed all the helpful advice that I have received, and don't seem to be getting very far. I have managed to set up three instrument tracks (using TTS-1 and Cakewalk Sound Centre, and used PRV to input some notes on each track and that seems to play ok, but I have tried to change the instruments on each track and they don't seem to be changing from what I initially selected. All I am trying to do is input data using the PRV then save the audio output (quality is not greatly important!)

Unzip the "accordion.dll" file and move it to your 32-bit VST folder. Mine is located at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\VstPlugIns

I am assuming a similar path for Music Creator. Assuming that Music Creator is similar to SONAR, you'll need to restart MC or rescan VSTs for it to show up in your VST2 synth rack.

Here's how I set up the test in SONAR.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,
I've got it available in Music Creator, now just need to add it to my increasing list of "how do I do that?"
I am thinking of posting a new question in the hope that some kind expert will take pity on me and provide a "step by step" guide as to how to achieve my goal!

I've used that one on albums and people want to know who played the accordion... great little plug.
