Well, I didn't want to put it into so many words, but I had an immediate thought about that which seems to be at least speculated on in the article. It may be due to....er....how shall I put it....using the go-round for somewhat less than merry purposes.....
 
Or decidedly merry, depending on which way you look at it....

In a related government funded study, it was discovered that 100% of men (gay or straight) that make it to their 70th birthday lived for more than 60 years.  Shocked at the results, the scientists are asking for an additional $42,000,000 to rerun the study...
