Wow ... I'm safe ... what a relief!

This is not something you want to learn about in your 60's. Fortunately, I had sufficient motivation in my 20's to meet my quota early. 
 
 

The confounding issue may be that men with more partners may have more sexual drive leading to more ejaculations. Ejaculations, regardless of how they are achieved, seem to be protective against prostate cancer. So even if you are lonely, old and ugly, you want to keep the pump going. Of course there may be spiritual consequences of late life masturbation. As Fr. Guido Sarducci says "It's-a add up."
