Nice one Freddy!
"You worship the almighty dollar, and if you have to you cheat" Love it!
I liked the lead breaks, they fit the song very well. Just spare enough and good tone.
Obviously I liked the lyrics. Good job on the vocals.
Thanks for sharing this!

Hi Lynn.  Thanks for listening.  I always appreciate your taking the time to listen and respond.  I am glad that you liked this little Bluesabilly number and I'm very glad that it made you smile.  Thanks again.

Thanks you Chas.  I appreciate the kind words.  BTW I loved your last video post.

Hey Bob.  Thank you.  You made me smile.  I'm glad that you got a giggle form this number .  I appreciate your listening.

Hi Makke.  Thanks for the comments and kind words.

Hey Tom!!!! How are you??  I'm glad to see you back on the forum buddy.  I always have to come back to two of my favourite music styles --- Blues and rockabilly.  I have even more fun when I can combine them.  I appreciate the listen and kind words.  Thanks.  I'm looking forward to some more Distant Towers postings.

Modern day Jimmy Reed.

Sounds good here and I think you've pulled off what could be a remixed old JR song.  I agree with Tim though - I'd like to hear just a little more sproing on the lead guitar.

Sounds all good at my end. I can vision the spring verb on the lead too. Nice clear mix.

Thanks for trying Kenny!

Hi Steve.  Ya, there is just something about that primitive, rhythmic sound of Jimmy Reed that just grabs me.  His partner in playing, Eddie Taylor was no slouch either.  It was his playing that kept Jimmy from getting too far off track in -- well, let's just call them Jimmy's difficult moments.  I agree about adding more "spring" to the lead work.  I have been accused of abusing reverb too much (rightly so) and so I am overly cautious now.  Thanks for listening and commenting.

Thanks for your comments Gus.  I got you about the lead guitar and agree.  I'll have to pull out the file and add a bit more "spring".  I am having the same trouble with this new forum layout.  In fact, it also keeps logging me off.  Could it be user error on my part -----naaaaaw?  Thanks again.
