One of the projects we worked on last night ...nothing will pan? now it was originally bundled from another computer but we have worked on it and saved since then, all audio interface settings are fine and all tracks are not interleaving. Anyone know what is up?

Or there is a mono plugin on it.

Or you're in offset mode and the panpot is arguing with the offset setting.

This could easily be the trouble.  Click the offset icon and click all the faders to zer, and the pan pots to center to resolve the issue.  Easy to get confused with this.

Check your master buss processors to see if anything is set to mono

Yeah nothing. So I pan the guitar and the meters show its all left.  The master still shows all toghter (mono).  I can manually pan the master and that works as prescribed.  Offset mode had no effect. Nothing on the master bus and the channel stuff is disabled.  ?? I am stumped.

If the Master bus interleave is set to mono, you'll experience the exact symptoms you describe. Check the Master bus interleave button in Console view, and also, make sure there's no mono plug-in in the master bus.

I ran into a similar bug a few times when opening an old project. My workaround was to clone the track with only the events selected.. no automation etc. See if that at least gets you stereo again. Hope this helps
