I think that includes Taxes which should be paid in Europe. The same with Euro (they have all prices in Euro numerically equivalent to the prices in $$$). If, by chance, you have some address outside GB/Europe and you are not professional, you can save quite some money ;)
Someone claimed on here that it does not include taxes, as I originally thought.  He was charged taxes by customs when it arrived in U.K.  I guess this is how we can download okay, but will be charged if it has to be sent over.

I'd like to know for sure, for sure.

For me this is taking the $$$%%^

Overloud Complete Bundle - For SONAR X2 Customers (Download)
Total UK  = £239
Total USA = $299
Type into google right now "299 dollars to pounds" and the result is £186.38
That is a difference of £52.00.

I notice conversion from Euros to pounds and vice versa is reasonably accurate.
I've just bought the product, maybe I can be refunded at least 50 quid :-).
Brits have always had a bum deal but it is best not to moan about it too much as the thread will get huge and you'll always be in the wrong for pointing out the difference.

Grum.

This is a myth and is not true. Electronic purchase makes it so. If I was exporting a guitar that would be a different matter, and any taxes would be paid AFTERWARDS through customs.

> but it is best not to moan about it too much as the thread will get huge

If that costs me 50 quid so be it, oh it has! ;).
So much for free trade between nations.

Cheers...

Everything depends on where the sale comes from it appears. This is how corporations skip tax (i.e. Starbucks/Ebay and Amazon have hardly paid anything in the UK because of this). I'm not saying Cake or Roland does this BTW, I have no idea. I'd be interested to see how the sale is broken down firstly in the UK and secondly in the USA. All assumptions and bets are off, it would be good if Cakewalk could supply the info, there's now way we can fully tell how and through what counties/address they dispatch/process the order. Until I see a full breakdown I am just assuming I'm being charged 50 quid extra, or the USA gets it 50 less.... not fair.... :) Cheers Alex
