I really like this one Lynn, as noted above it's different but really cool.
I like the vocal processing, fits the song well IMHO.
Great arrangement, good job on spacing everything.
What is that effect on the right channel guitar? Really cool.
Great job!

Steve Miller! :-) it has your signature sound Lynn. It's mixed up pretty loud, not sure how you do that and keep it clear and balanced.

Hi guys, thanks for the kind words and time.

Bob, the guitar is played through TH2 and the main f/x is the Octaver with a little grit.  I love that sound, and I first heard it done by Jimi Hendrix.

John, I keep my levels low in Sonar (about -12 to 18), bounce to Sound Forge, where I put a limiter on it set to -8.0 threshold and -0.1 margin for 16/44.1 wave files.  For MP3 conversion, I set the limiter to 0 threshold and -0.35 margin @256K.  Thanks for asking.

I think you may have created a genre!!  I can't say I've ever heard anything like it (that's meant as a compliment btw).  I like the treatment on the vocals, it made me focus on them and the lyrics.  Very good job.

Makke, thanks for your time and kind words.  BTW, I enjoyed your odes to the circus!

Tom, thank you for your interest!  I'd like to hear what you could do with this.  I'll be in touch.

James, I'm not sure what genre this would fit in, but I call it progressive-pop, for lack of a better description.  Thanks for your time!

Nice to see you back song sounds basically good.

For me though the bass and the kick sound like they are lacking any body/weight and it is all a bit harsh and jangly.  This is just my furry ear pers-p-e-ctive.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Lynn ,
your song is pretty impressive in a lot of areas
I like the way you changed up the arrangement at 2:06 and ongoing ..brilliant , yeah I like the way you did the vocals and there's a lot of cool playing going on with all the supporting parts .
it sounds like you are heading in a very creative direction with your new production methods .

Wookie, I'm very interested in the comments you made about the recording being  a bit harsh and jangly.  That's something I want to avoid, so I will take care to deal with those issues on the next pass.  Thanks for your comments and time!

Kenny, I'm so encouraged by your remarks and observations.  You're one of the best around, so it gives me hope for the future.  Thanks for taking the time.
