Oh man. So much good stuff but no money. Ozone and the Overloud bass amp sim are SCREAMING at me to be bought and the Chromaphone thingy is giving me a sultry stare.

Must... stop... looking...

Ozone 5 is amazing! From iZotope's site it is 249.00 but you can get it at sweetwater or other online retailers for 199.00. The TH2 deals look great too. But like you right now I have little money. I do have enough for the concrete limiter and the other pro channel plug.

I think today may be the time to buy those.

I could REALLY use that Ozone package. The mastering stuff in Sonar is good but from the sounds of it Ozone blows all those tools away. *sigh* Maybe some day.

Also, if only interested in the Overloud Breverb2 & SpringAge Combo:

Audio Deluxe has them for  a bit cheaper, if you apply the coupon 'cyber15' for an additional 15% off.

Edit: Breverb 2 alone is $116.45 vs. $129.00 here.

Otherwise, for both Breverb2 & SpringAge it's $141.95 there vs. $169.00 here.

[Sorry for any confusion.]

I've never really been a big reverb user. Prefer things to be nice and dry. The little bit I use just to make things sound a little more real is easily accomplished with the stuff included in Sonar. I'm more into distortions, compressors and realistic synth patches. I've heard great things about the Overloud bass sim but GR5 seems to work pretty well for that stuff. Not so great for guitar though IMO.

If anybody is interested in Chromaphone - and is in the UK, it's cheaper to get it at the AAS site for their half price sale. It comes out to $99.50 (around £64 for me on Paypal) as opposed to £79 in the Cakewalk shop.

The Cakewalk shop £ -> $ conversion sucks for some reason.

Chromophone is a great synth IMO.

So that Chromaphone thing... can you toss other sounds/samples in it or is it limited to its own content?

Oh and synkro... don't know if you saw it but I posted my first loopy loop song a while ago. Thought maybe you'd be interested in hearing it. :-)
