I have a dialog box message popping up when I open a certian project indicating:

"Transients are in the process of being generated. Depending on project settings, playback may be different until the process is complete"

Anyone know what this means?

I believe that happens when you have Audio Snap enabled somewhere in your project. It's usually a short process unless it's on a zillion tracks from start to finish;)

I'm having the same problem.  Since my project contains no instances of AudioSnap, is there a way to remove it entirely from a project?

Thanks.

I'm having this problem, obviously, as well ... Is there any way to entirely identify every instance of AudioSnap within an individual project (to check if is has been enabled)?

If not, it sure would be nice if this message identified which AudioSnap occurrence is causing this pop-up.  In my unique case, the project is nine and half minutes long.

Additionally, it would sure be nice if the software engineers at Cakewalk would include a message nbr (3-4 digit) with each unique pop-up message for the benefit of our SONAR community to communicate back to them (and within the forum) exactly what is happening.  I once lived the world of software engineering and this concept would benefit the software debugger at Cakewalk in his/her quest to identify exactly where within the code the message has been issued as reported by us ... the end-users.

Anyhow, any help on my original questions would be greatly appreciated.

Select all your clips, do a bounce to Clip & save.

Make sure none are locked.

Or lasso/highlite all your clips open the Audio Snap Pallet and turn it off from there. Also make sure all your tracks are set to display Clips and that audio transients hasn't been selected on any of them.

Thanks "emwhy" ... used "Bristol's Method" (great name for a band) and it worked like a champ ... thanks to both of you for the quick response.  Problem solved ... for me anyway!
