I run Win 7 on 2 machines, both with Focusrite interfaces.

1 is FW, 1 is USB, and I don't get crackles & pops on either system

The Sandy E machine in your signature reads like a killer machine.

You never replied as to wether your Left Hand Les Paul is a Studio 60's type[the P-90's?]

I was so glad to get mine[Humbuckers] after Strat type junk boxes that actually work really well, but nothing like the tone of the real deal.

I would certainly like a Focusrite Liquid 56 though.

If only I was from Amsterdam.

To the OP,if you list your Motherboard make/model,CPU,Graphics card,as all of the interactions of JUST those 3,can cause serious havoc, for example when I built my desktop,I researched for months about models of parts, that were known to play nice together, and have been very lucky.

I first got the dell laptop, and had all sorts of nightmares, but over 18 months of everyday,Iv'e learned a lot,and although being a guitarist SHOULD be enough, sometimes it pays to be a bit of a scientist.

I had a motorcycle background so tech spechs et al,came sort of easier I guess, but sometimes certain combinations of bits just don't like each other, cough, but I'm sure with more details, some of the expert freindlies here, will help, eventually.

Sorry Bob, that question must have passed me by.

Yep, it's a 60's Studio reissue in Matt Black, with full on Soap Bars. Plays superbly - I got it this year for my birthday after being a good boy all year

Thanks,I had to get mine from Canada,as the prices here were ridiculous[still are],wow, you must have been xxtra good to receive that beauty for your birthday!

I can't help thinking that mine with the 498T bridge humbucker,is a little overwound or hot,and would certainly like to try the single coil,to truly see if it's in fact true, but yes playability,I still can't believe I waited 27 years to get one!

I got mine from Thomann in Germany, and I've waited even longer Bob.

Worth the wait though

The last time I had this problem, RME reminded me that the "Legacy" Firewure should be selected. That fixed it for me.

What details do you need and where will I find them? Like I said, I don't know much about computers and only go "under the hood" with cast-iron directions...
BTW: My C: drive is an SSD.
