Would make comparing the EQ curves of 2 physically distant tracks a lot easier if you could bring them both up in a moveable window and place them side by side.

Not ideal I know but you could do that in the CV using the inspector for one and the CV PC for the other.

Or just temporarily drag the tracks next to each other.

As cool as the PC is it's silly little limitations like this that make a bit annoying at times. But the benefits far outweigh it's quirks. I've been really liking it now that I have a better handle on how the heck to use it. I hated having a million different plug in windows. Very confusing and hard to work with.

One thing that'd be cool is if there were a little button to lock the PC/Inspector in focus so when you when to mute or adjust the faders on other tracks you don't have to go back and click on the track you were working on.

Any workarounds for that, Karl?

Yeah I do the workarounds cited above, but it has to be said that it would be very convenient to be able to "undock" them from the PC, even if they weren't actually taken out of the PC entirely (you could have a separate pop-up window which is a magnified, moveable mirror of the PC module).

Comparing one in the inspector and one in the console isn't so ideal when like me you have the inspector on the far left of your first monitor, and the console on your second monitor. And dragging tracks out of their established order discombobulates me a little.

+1 for this, I'd like to see a lock function on the inspector too.

Mass feature request? Strikes me as something that would be pretty easy to toss into the code... however I'm not a programmer.

I would support that. why not just make clicking on a track, prochannel module etc.. enlarge it? When you click on anything on a PC, you want to go into it. I dont understand why sonar doesnt do this by default.

Actually allowing the PC and/or it's components to become a tab in the dock (that stays there) might be cool. Let's say you are tweaking a few different tracks. This way they could all be easily accessible via the dock.

Not the greatest appraoch but it would make things easier. That's how I manage stuff I'm currently working on.

It can just be tricky roaming around the Console or TV to get at stuff. Actually being able to float multiple PC instances so you can view them side by side would be super useful. I do a lot of doubling and tripling of bass/guitar tracks and EQ them different so It would be nice to not have to flop around all the time... but I guess that's more like what the OP is suggesting.

DO ALL THE THINGS!!!
