I'm sort of getting the hang of it, but some of the terminology is confusing to me.

What does this mean?

Landmarks. Snap to the selected landmarks when the Events button is enabled in the Control Bar’s Snap module

1) What is the Events button? I don't see a button on the control bar (in track view) that is labeled "Events".

2) I'm not sure what the effect of selecting one of the check boxes in "Landmarks" is (in Snap to Grid preferences). So, for example, what does it mean when I select the check box next to "Markers". Does that mean that when ever I click in the time ruler, the now marker will go to the nearest marker?

Thanks,
Mike

1. It's actually the Snap To Landmark Events button (labeled Marks in the Snap module).

2. It means that data (and yes the Now Time) will snap to whatever landmark options you have activated.
