I split off a little clip of an audio waveform, right click it and create V-Vocal clip.

The V-Vocal window opens as expected.

I press the play button in the V-Vocal window.

Nothing happens.

??

Any ideas what is up?

Thank you

Try using the play button or the spacebar in your regular transport.

that doesn't work either. Nothing plays when the V-Vocal window is on top

If you have selected a very small section within it that can happen too.
Try clicking on the pane to reset and hit loop and play.?

Can you see the V-Vocal generated waveform in the CC Window?

How long is the clip you've isolated?

What is the CC window?
the clip is about 4 measures long (at 120 bpm)

btw, when I disable the fx on the track, then V=Vocal play button works.

Interesting. Have you tried disabling all FX on the track and enabling them one by one? There are a lot of FX with output gains. If one of these was rolled to -inf it might cause the problem. If you remove the V-Vocal the problem goes away? I ask just to make sure you aren't looping a silent part of your project by mistake (I've accidentally forgotten a loop was on before). That sort of thing.

Sorry - meant the VV Window.
