Does anyone know how to change a final mix tempo (faster or slower) in X1? In older Sonar versions (I think before 8.0) there was a Cakewalk plug in that could do it (change tempo or pitch). Thanks.

Is the mix in midi or audio format. If its midi that's easy with audio more difficult you can only slightly change the tempo as you start to get strange effects if you push it. Never really got it working where its say 175 and you switch to 120. Maybe  for 175 to 173 or 178 just example of the limitations.

- Select all audio tracks
- Open the Audiosnap palette (shortcut A)
- Click on the mode button to the right of Clip Follows Project, and set it to Autostretch
- Now all audio will follow tempo changes along with MIDI which does by default.

Once you have the tempo you want, bounce individual clips choosing the most appropriate offline (i.e. non-realtime) render mode algorithm in the AS palette for each; this will make the stretching permanent, giving you the best audio quality, and taking the load off your CPU needed for real-time stretching.

If these are you own tracks, I recommend doing all of this with a copy of the project.
