This one is for a jazz quartet, featuring...

- On upright bass (and the track's namesake): Kenny Kontakt
- On drums: Addictive Drums, the II
- On piano: AD2's sibling, Addictive Keys
- On guitar: Sammy Stratocaster, assisted by GR5

As always there's a liberal sprinkling of various PC modules.

Thanks, Robbie!   It's supposed to represent an actual band performance/interaction, more or less, so hopefully that comes across.

Steve, I agree with Robbie, very interesting sounds going on in this piece and has a real band feel to it. Very nicely done and a great mix to boot. Enjoyed this for sure.

Peace and Blessings, John

It does in fact? What amazed me the most (as a bass player) is the sound of the upright by Mr. Kenny Kontakt? (interesting name, is he from one of those .DE countries?) He's very talented  You should hang on to that gent...

I'm hanging on to Mr. Markno999 like grim death... I'll be harder to leave than Glen Close in Fatal Attraction.

This is a nice addition to the songs area. It really sounds like a real band playing...the stick clicks before the end added to the realism. I like the stops in between the different sections..very well done. I second the realism and vibe on that bass...pretty cool stuff. The drums are right on. Great job man!

@ John - thank you!  I usually do tunes "for the studio" but felt this would be better suited for a live feel.  Good to know I'm in the ball park!

@ Monty - thanks!  Should I do a country-ish tune at some point I know who's site to listen to.   :)

@ Robbie - yes, Kenny is in fact a native of Germany.   I hear also likes rabbit stew.

@ Tim - thank you for the kind words.  I really had fun putting this one together, and having good "instruments" to work with sure doesn't hurt.

Steve, this is really enjoyable to listen to.  It reminds me of my high school jazz band.  A+ on the realism factor.  I, too, like the flavor this adds to this forum.

Thanks, Lynn!   I hadn't done anything remotely resembling jazz in a long time so figured it'd be a nice change.  Plus it does seem to be a less than common genre around these parts.
