I'm still trying to get things balanced right...not 100% yet. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!

Hi, I would suggest to use less effect on the vocals during the main verse lines - I mean these:
Is it all just for a show? Don't you think that they don't know?
How long will you play this game?
I really thought that you would change, that it would be different now. It's all still the same.

The rest is OK as is.

Or yet have the effect on the first part of main verse line, and from there no effect, or alternate every line. I thought the guitar strumming thru out ie :50 might sound better without reverb as well as guitar section in middle, since that effect is used in the vocals. Otherwise its a cool neat tune, really like it, just wish I could sing without killing anyone.

The balance is pretty good so far. I'd bring the bass up a tad. Reduce the amount of FX going on, I feel that they're making your mix sound small. Singing is good :) Looking forward to hearing your update.

Bring down the reverbs, particularly on the drums. Make the drums hit a little harder and tie them better to the bass to get more drive. This is a cool song, just needs a bit more focused energy.

The instrumental break: There's a melody in there, and I want to hear it, but the tone and FX mask it and make it all sound a bit grating and chaotic and mechanical.

Great vibe. Your vocal is a great fit. But the mix IMHO needs to be more focused and upfront. Bigger drums.

Cool song, Tim!  Nice work on the vocals.

As already mentioned a little mix work should do it - less/more automated FX throughout (though I like the backwards effect), a little less mid-highs on the lead guitars, and maybe some additional punch on the drums (a thicker/less buzzy snare for me).

First off- Thanks for all the comments!!!!!!!!

I took everyones advice here. I remixed this with a more up front feel to it. I backed off the reverb and dealt with some slight phasing between tracks.

Sounds like it's coming along to me!   Definitely cleaned up and more forward which I think works well, but still with some of the psychedelic FX that seem to fit the feel of the song.
