Considering I have X2 Producer is this thing archaic and/or redundant? I never really used it so I'm not even sure exactly what it is aside from some kind of step sequencer.

And just to keep things interesting... what kind of old Cakewalk goodies do you have stashed in your gack piles?

Don't recall which version but I still have the 5 1/4" floppies for Cakewalk down in my basement somewhere...circa 1997 or so?

Makes me laugh just to think of 5 1/4" floppies...they're just so 80s.

Hi Miguelito
You'll have to be careful referring to 5 1/4" floppies - most of the younger generation who use this forum won't realise you are talking about Computer Discs!!!!

I only know as my grandfather told me..........................

@Bajan... I've seen some screen caps of Guitar Tracks posted on here. That thing looks AWESOME. :-)

@miguleto... Wow. They used floppies in '97? What in the heck for? lol

Bajan: yes and my grandkids probably think I'm senile ;-)

Beepster: see my comment above about senility...maybe they were 3" floppies - a technological breakthrough at the time!

On a holiday note of being thankful: how cool is that we can walk around with a 32G chip plugged into some device (think phones cameras et al). I think my first 1G SCSI HD cost about two/three grand at the time...wow time marches on.
