has anyone here tried running sonar on one of those all-in-one touch screen computers?  (i.e. dellOne or the like?)  i know the win8 x2 patch isn't available yet, but i'm curious to see how sonar would run on one of those types of machines via win8.  i've only just "played" with one of those types of computers at a microsoft store for a few minutes and have the thought that it could be interesting to run the console screenset on the touch screen.

the reason i'm asking is that it's about time to upgrade to a new music computer and i'm just looking at all available options.  i don't need the most impressive machine, as music is just a "very expensive hobby" for me...but i do want the box to be snappy and responsive, and don't mind spending money on something that i'd use regularly (and would want to last for a couple+ years).  tho maybe the allInOnes are bad just because of the limited internal hardDrives, etc.--but nothing different than a laptop, i'd guess?!

just wondering about peoples opinions...(and who knows...cyber monday is coming up quick! ;p

Best to wait for the Win 8 / X2 patch.

I've only tried it on Win 7 touch screen, but the touch movement does not translate well. I think it's mainly X1 / X2 issue, because Reaper responded well to the fader touch, and so does the Win volume control, but X1 / X2 does not (fader movement is accelerated). Also touch-hold does not perform right-click (as in deleting a step sequencer note). Others seems to work, such as moving windows, scrolling, toggling buttons (but the screen can be a bit small for your fingers).
