I missed the Fxpansion competition entry date.. but just for fun, downloaded the loops and play around.

At first, I didn't see any loop imported, but soon realized the wav file got imported at around bars 1700 to 1800 bars ahead. Tested with same result on X1 and X2.

I tried with other loops, and all of them are imported at now time correctly.

Anyone had similar experience ?

Preferences > File - Audio Data and select the Always Import Broadcast Waves At
Their Timestamp check box. Otherwise, set the Now Time and current track to indicate where
the audio should be placed.

Try that. That is uncheck it.

I get this every time a client sends me a wave file using Logic or Pro Tools. Their "broadcast waves" are different than ours for some odd reason. Doing what John mentioned does not work in these situations for *me*. You just have to slide the wave all the way to the left until you get it where you want it.

You'll notice if you have Adobe or Wave Lab, that opening this file will also bring in any markers that were created within the file. These types of files are the only ones that seem to do this for me and they always end up an hour or more deep within a Sonar project when imported regardless of where you put your time line or if your options for broadcast wave are enabled. This has been a weird one that I gave up on years ago. The good new is, if you imported multiple files like this, they would line up, but still be over an hour deep in your project...so you'll definitely need to slide no matter how you slice it.

This legs me up every time.  The default needs to be 'unticked' I would have thought.
