Hello, I've Googled this question extensively and as of yet have been able to find an answer, so I've decided to finally register here and ask it myself. I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, but it seemed to be the most fitting at the time. Quite a few months ago I purchased a USB MIDI interface (probably the cheap one that everyone says is terrible) and it worked fine for awhile, but has lately decided to stop inputting MIDI. However, it still plays fine when my keyboard is used as an Ouput. The main reason I've avoided asking this question for so long is because, much to my dismay, I'm currently stuck using Sonar LE 4. I would like to upgrade in the future, but lack the money to do so currently. So I'm not sure how many people will be able to help with this. Anyway, so I'm going to provide screenshots to show that everything that I list is correct:

1) The USB MIDI Device is selected as the input. (I have tried selecting a specific channel instead of just "MIDI Omni" as well, but it still doesn't work) 2) The output is clearly selected. (Only using MS WaveSynth as an example. Not something I would typically use.) 3) The channel is set and the keyboard is on that channel. Additionally, I have tried putting it on "None," again to no avail. 4) Although the patch is not set, that would normally just tune it to the Acoustic Grand Piano patch by default. 5) The drop down menu for "Bank" does not give me any options, although it never has, so I don't understand why it won't work now. 6) The track is armed to record and input echo is on, though as previously stated it neither records nor echos. 7) The input device is selected in the MIDI devices menu-

I simply can not think of anything else that could possibly be preventing the MIDI from transmitting. Again, it works perfectly fine wwhen outputting. But it downright refuses to input. It's become bothersome and has kept me from advancing on a good deal of my projects. If anyone has a solution that I may have overlooked, your assistance would be highly welcomed! Thanks in advance!
