Can anyone confirm that this happens with them also? If I adjust the cutoff dial on one of the filters in Z3TA+2, it jumps back to its default setting every time I stop playback in Sonar. This is so annoying!

I've also had this happen occasionally in other synths, like Reaktor. In one of the Reaktor synths it turns the volume output to zero every time I stop playback. It's really, really bugging me. There is no automation involved.

Look under Preferences->Project->Midi, there a checkbox there for zero controllers when play stops. I use it - but I also place an initial controller value in the midi track for the controllers I use. Alternatively, with zero still enabled, you could create an automation lane for that control.

For most folks though, just uncheck the zero controllers checkbox.

Aha! I knew it would have been a case of me simply not bothering to check the preference box for an option. And yet here we are....
