Mark - fantastic production.  Everything is so lively.  The kick drum and snare are just perfect - they pop through the mix - love that sound.  Guitar work is excellent.  Robby - vocals are excellent!

Warren - Thanks for checking back.   I used your advice from the last mix and I am sure that it greatly improved the bass sound.    Appreciate it.

Larry Jones - Appreciate the comment.   I was particularly interested in opines on the bass because I usually used Trillian for bass, this is the first bass part I have played and recorded.    It was a lot of fun to record.

Geno - Thanks for the listen, appreciate it.   Used Addictive Drums for the drum parts, 70's Kit.

"EDIT: I didn't know the forum would automatically insert asterisks. The word I used is an old slang expression, rhymes with "twitchenest." These days it would probably translate to "That is the awsome-est bass sound I've ever heard."

They edit "stupid things?" Things which are in no way abuse? Or in no way bigoted? But I don't think they control it? I think it's part of whatever app they have running...

Mark does have the guitar/bass/and drums down "HARD...."

He does :-) We've done a few? I hope we can do a few more.

Thanks for your comments.

Enjoyed this immensely.  Really good job on covering this tune.
Van Halen tunes are not easy to replicate well and you did it.
The vocals have really captured the feel of the original David Lee Roth swagger.
Way to go!

Rockin' track and an excellent job on the vocals by David Lee Robby.

Interesting rendition. The vocals sound more like Sammy Hagar. At least it wasn't a cheezy cover of Eruption.
