Its simple and clear interface in combination with excellent sound quality will surely be appreciated by any engineer looking for efficient way of controlling dynamics of a channel, bus or even master output.

  • Controllable release characteristic.
  • Optional soft clip.
  • Tag based preset browser.
  • Two alternative GUI sizes.

Lately I have been ignoring freebies but I'll give this a try. I really like the other stuff of theirs I have. Toraverb is very nice and just different. Thanks for heads up.

Warning: installs in \program files\steinberg\vstplugins and there is no option to change it. However, there is no problem moving it after installation.

I did not like the sound of it when pushed hard, but at lighter settings it does a fine job. Worth every penny! And I sure do like their newer UIs, a big improvement.

[EDIT] It was the "soft clip" option that was making it sound nasty. I turned that off (it's on by default) and the plugin sounds much better now, even when pushed hard.

Nice one. Can't find the presets though. Probably me.

Mine let me choose which folder to put it in Bit, ol pal.  Maybe you missed the option box/browse thingy?

But mine is also showing no presets at all.  Or am I doing something wrong?

Must be a new trend. That iZotope Delay froma month ago or so didn't have any presets either.

My first, admittedly quick, test was a bit underwhelming to say the least. But I love most of my D16 stuff anyway.
