Bayou Bill and the Dumpster Divers?

My first thought upon reading this: How do you go about soundproofing a dumpster? What type of mic would work best in a dumpster? Would you want to acoustically treat the dumpster? I mean, it's a dumpster, so you've got a pretty good chance of finding some free mattresses, which could drastically reduce your soundproofing budget. 

Mattresses, yes, egg cartons, old blankets, pillows, boxes, paper bags, fuzzy mold...

You know that there were/are bands that found their "singer" ... in the most unusual ways ... even busking, and looking for sex on the street corner ... and it worked. You never know ... even a bathroom singer might turn out to be a real gem, and make the group ... work its tail off and all of a sudden ... wow ... we have it.
 
At this point it would be better than ... nothing?
 

Tom Gato is the most finicky vocalist I've ever met but if I must must look past that.
