Just check back on this post! WOW thanx for the comments guys. I think we all knew from the start that it was a poor proposition. BUT!!! I recently picked up an m audio VENOm which has identical buffer/pan law settings etc..
Well here's the deal on light projects  with10 Audio 5 Midi and EG. 2 NEXUS 2 Massive (on standard dsp settings) and a cople o Verbs I can get these two working well together at 5.8 - 11.5 ms. This is using Asio4 All or WDM. But ALAS I needed the extra input for my guitar and at 1.5 ms (the only viable input monitoring speed) BOOM NO GO... LAME
 I wish I wasn't so povo need a new interface badly. OH DELTA 10 10 IN 2001 you and me were in nirvana why did you die ?  :)
