I have struggled to try to understand the difference and/or similarities of those FX and in what situation to use each of them.

I understand that the CW Console Emulator brings "analog warmth", I also understand that PSP Mix Saturator often are used before a limiter on a Master bus.

Are the products above do the same thing??

I would be very thankful for any guidance...!:)

No take on this?

I would be thankful for some explanation regarding this.

For example, if I use Console Emulators on all tracks and buses (including Pre Master Fader) do I actually need to insert a Mix Saturator 2 as well? Doesn't these pretty much do the same thing (bringing analog warmth"?

Thanks

If you want. There are no rules for this. There is no right or wrong way to use these.

If you feel you need to use both, then use both. If your ears tell you you need to use both or just one of them, then just use one.

Let your ears tell you what to use and at what settings to set them to.

Each song and each instrument track in each song will need different things done to it. so use your ears and do what you feel is needed. No one can tell you if you need both or just one of those things. Its all relative and personnel taste bro

Also, you may not even need to use any of those 2 plugins. Who's to say!!!

Thanks CJ, you are right off course. If it sounds good, its good. Right:)

Anyway, I tried to get my head around them, as they seem to do the same thing.
