SONAR is it not compatible with Windows 7 which is not in English?

I'd imagine there would have to be at least some people here sucessfully running non-English OS'...?

Although it's probably irrelevant, I've seen issues with the engineering software I support at work when a point and comma are reversed (from English) as the decimal separator; i.e., 0,01 vs. 0.01.

Yes, maybe he should just use the English version. but if other languages are available for the installation is that it has been verified by Cakewalk.

BSOD's issues are an issue with hardware or drivers related to hardware. Not Sonar.
There will be no specific issues to do with with not using the English language.

So you've updated your drivers.
Have you updated the chipset drivers? (motherboard).
Have you updated the firmware of your devices that can be updated (including your BIOS).

Check out my footer, I suggest you list your hardware/software in a similar fashion (more detail the better).

Cheers.

Regional settings can have unexpected impact. Even when the install is English! I have many customers in English-speaking Canada who've found that life is easier if they just set their workstations to US English - although you'd think the differences between US and Canadian English would be trivial. Even some of my French-speaking Canadian users do the same.

However, every locale-specific problem I've ever seen has been at the application level. I have never heard of a bluescreen being cured by changing regional settings. More likely, it was the re-installation of Windows that did the trick.
