I've downloaded and extracted these files, but were should I put them? Is there a common X2 loop folder? Beatscape? Dropzone?

Just put them in the c:/cakewalk content/audio folder. You can also split them up as loops and one shots. Whatever you want.

Yeah, I just found these in my Cakewalk Store download area too.  I'm guessing these are designed more for electronic / dance type music, eh?

I'm downloading them now,I usually put stuff thats not,how should I put it?-"mission critical",on my external USB3 WD My Book Essentials HDD,which is super fast at transferring data-about the only thing the 2 USB 3.0 ports are ANY good for on this XPS laptop.[they don't work for audio!-only my USB 2,0/eSATA port is able to run my N.I. Kommplete 6 interface, which is working brilliantly by the way, very solid drivers!

Anything that I'm using at the moment is on my main laptop 750 GB HDD,but I like to keep it as light as I can,so all my backups, and copies of projects go on the External.

As far as puting it in context with X2,I just put the loops etc in "Cakewalk Content",and divide them amongst the stuff thats already there.
