Gustabo: thanks...tried that, no luck. Incidentally, what are you using for humanizing?

Oh man. I helped Danny Danzi? Now we know the world has turned upside down and is also spinning off it's axis.

WOW! If that's the weirdest problem you've ever seen, I 'm speechless.

...are you sure this is X1 you're talking about?

In my 18 months of Sonar DAW/computer use,Iv'e used "simple instrument tracks" for an export, with no problem,in fact its how I export my SSD4 drums always,so I hope this weirdness doesn't start happening, but threads like this can be very educational, though when you guys start talking "controller no's" thats where I have ZERO idea.....anyway,glad you got it sorted Danny

Danny. Curious whether or not you had automation in those synth tracks?

soens: Yeah, definitely X1 as I haven't put X2 on my recording systems yet. I'm waiting for the next patch to come out before I do that. I've never had a problem with X1 other than when it first came out. After the first two main patches, it was pretty fixed for me. By the last patch it was flawless for how I use it.

Bob: Yeah I never used them until now. What's weird is, when the project first got completed as far as my "work" done to it, I exported a little snippet of it for the client and it worked perfectly. As I did more work, that's when I noticed the problem.

There were other synths in the project too, but only 2 of them were in simple instrument track format. I have bongo's, harp, assorted specials going on....but they are all set up as a instrument templates or one midi, one audio.

The controller stuff we're talking about has to do with continuous controll messages which you can either manually put in, or if you have a controller they will do certain enhancements to the midi data. For example, if you have V-Drums, a hi-hat pedal counts as an expression and puts out a control number in the midi data. Or a pitch wheel on a keyboard..choked cymbal. Stuff like that gives you added control options and sometimes, they can even mess things up.

Tim: No automation at all.

Olpal: Ok, you have me beat there. LOL! :)
