This is the first time I've ever tried this...
1. Imported a Band Video into X2
2. Did a little eq and limiting on the Audio
3. Tried to export (using the default settings)
4. Waited
It never started Exporting to AVI

Is there a good reference for doing this kind of thing?
Has anyone else tried this?

TIA

Video isn't really Sonar's forte. I'd recommend Sony Vegas, maybe the Home version. Their audio mixing capabilities are top notch too. Many folks use it to sweeten their band videos.

Yep,  Much more efficient to export a mix out of Sonar then marry the new audio to picture in a Video editing program as SuperG suggested.  Windows Movie Maker can do it, Quicktime Pro,  but i use Vegas..

BUT, you should be able to export a video out of Sonar.  I have done it before.  Perhaps you need to "select all"  or something silly along those lines.   Try different settings.

+1 on select all - select all of the tracks and then do the export.  If you don't tell it what you want to export, it won't do anything.
